Using Design Strategy Matrix based on Cognitive Usability Model for Mobile Devices in New Product Development

The mobile devices have grown rapidly with the progresses of Information Technology (IT) over past decades. As this reason, mobile devices have become the personal equipments(e.g. iPhone, iPad, Tablet PC and smart-phone). The designs for those devices can be traced to the original design-works of Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), which conceptual design integrated the critical issues with perso...

Design and implementation of the Medical Digital Assistants

Nowadays, medical staffs need new wireless system to improve their work circumstance. Notebook computers and PDAs are some kinds of choice, but they can’t fully satisfy doctors. This paper introduces a new kind of system in a new hardware, which includes some functions doctors interested, and it is popular by staffs. Keyword medical digital assistant, PDA, electronic patient records Introductio...

Fast PDA Synchronization Using Characteristic Polynomial Interpolationy

Modern Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) architectures often use a wholesale data transfer protocol known as “slow sync” for synchronizing PDAs with Personal Computers (PCs). This approach is markedly inefficient, in terms of bandwidth usage and latency, since the PDA and PC typically share many common records. We propose, analyze, and implement a novel PDA synchronization scheme (CPIsync) based...

Relations with the modeling of channel assignment problems on multi-hop wireless networks and edge coloring problems of graphs

Multi-hop wireless networks [1] are autonomous systems of mobile nodes connected by wireless links and consist of nodes and wireless links. The nodes are classified into two kinds: one is a mobile terminal such as mobile phone, personal computer, handheld computer, Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) and so on, each of which has a router communication function for other terminals and the other is ...

A distributed architecture for searching, retrieving and visualizing complex 3D models on Personal Digital Assistants

Mobile devices are significantly changing the human-computer interaction. In particular, the ubiquitous access to remote resources is one of the most interesting characteristics achievable by using mobile devices such as Personal Digital Assistants, cellular phones and tablets. This paper presents an architecture that allows users to search and visualize complex three dimensional models over Pe...
